What The Highlands at Trophy Club Homeowners Association's governing documents say
This is a partial amendment to the architectural guidelines for The Highlands at Trophy Club, a single-family HOA in Trophy Club, TX. It updates specific rules about landscaping, signs, solar panels, perimeter walls, and car covers. It does not replace the full CC&Rs or architectural guidelines.
- Landscape edging: Edging around trees or flower beds must be uniform, match the house bricks, and be set in concrete or mortar to prevent sinking or cracking. Cracked mortar must be repaired.
- Signage: Spirit signs for schools, clubs, and teams may be displayed year-round but must be maintained and no larger than 24 x 36 inches.
- Solar panels: Solar panels should be placed primarily on the back and side elevations, but front placement is acceptable when necessary.
- HOA perimeter walls: Homeowners must keep vines and new plantings away from HOA-owned perimeter walls adjacent to their property. No bushes, trees, or woody vines may be planted next to these walls, and owners are liable for any damage they cause.
- Car covers: Car covers are allowed only if they are commercial-quality, muted in color, sized for the vehicle, and the vehicle is parked in the driveway (not the street). Tarps are prohibited.
- What this document doesn't cover: This is only a fourth amendment to the architectural guidelines; it does not include the full CC&Rs, general architectural rules, assessments, or other community regulations.
