cos ces cas KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE BYLAWS OF CHASEWOOD OAKS CONDOMINIUMS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. (this "Amendment") is made as of the 11th day of July, 2001, by the membership of the Chasewood Oaks Condominiums Homeowners Association, Inc. (the "Association").
COPY hoficial WITNESS ETH: WHEREAS, Chasewood Partnership, as Declarant, prepared and recorded an instrument entitled "Declaration and Master Deed [for] Chasewood Oaks Condominiums” on September 7, 1982, in Volume 9, Page 77 et seq. of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas (the "Declaration"); and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Association adopted Bylaws of the Chasewood Oaks Condominiums Homeowners Association, Inc, to govern the internal operation of the Association, which bylaws are attached as Exhibit "C" to the Declaration (the "Bylaws"); and WHEREAS, Article VIII of the Bylaws provides for amendment of the Bylaws in writing by the majority of Owners of Units on the Property; and WHEREAS, the following amendments to the Bylaws were approved by at least a majority of the Owners in writing 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Bylaws are hereby amended as follows: Article N, Paragraph 4 is amended by deleting this Paragraph in its entirety and replacing it with the following: Quorum.
At any annual meeting of the Association, the presence at the meeting of Owners, or of proxies, entitled to cast more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the Common Interest of the Owners shall constitute a quorum. If the required quorum is not present, the meeting may be adjourned and another meeting may be called and held immediately thereafter without notice other than

announcement at the meeting. An affirmative vote of a majority of the Owners present, either in person or by proxy, shall be required to transact the business of the meeting.
At any special meeting of the Association, the presence at the meeting of Owners, or of proxies, entitled to cast more than fifty percent (50%) of the Common Interest of the Owners shall constitute a quorum. If the required quorum is not present, the meeting may be adjourned and another meeting may be called for the same purpose upon no less than ten (10) and no more than thirty (30) days written notice. An affirmative vote of a majority of the Owners present, either in person or by proxy, shall be required to transact the business of the meeting.
Except as modified in this Amendment, the Bylaws shall remain in full force and effect.
