14814 Englebrook Dr Houston, TX 77095 RE: EMERGENCY FREEZE NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS Severe sub freezing weather is forecasted in our area. We must all act quickly and promptly to prevent pipes in our neighborhood and homes from freezing.

We ask all residents to adhere to the following precauti ons:  Ensure the heat is left on and s et no lower than 65 ° degrees Fahrenheit *  Allow your water faucets to maintain a small stream continuously until freeze ban is lifted  Ensure all drains are clear to prevent overflow  Ensure all windows and doors are sealed and have proper draft coverage , this will reduce heat loss  Be sure to open cabinet doors under the sink and bathrooms to allow proper airflow  Co ver any exposed pipes outdoors wi th proper materials  Cover tree trunks and shrubs  Bring all plants and pets indoors  Fill a tub with water just in case water l ines are shut off  If in doubt , you can shut off water valves from the main line and drain all water to prevent pipes from bursting.

You mu st make sure all the water is drained from the pipes !

 Remember to call 911 if you are in life threating sit uation As an additional precaution, it is advisable to stay indoors during t his sever weather . If you must go outside proce ed with extreme caution on the road and ensure your vehicle has good treading on the tires. Be aware that ice forms on any surface, if you see black on the road do not pass!

Icy roads are dangerous and can be very fatal .

Keep in mind that frost can also cause slippery surfaces.
