I. Call to Order: Lilian W ilson called the meeting at 6:39 II. Roll Call and Determination of Quorum: Lilian West, Liz Shaw, John Embrey, Ron Jenkins, Jeffrey Landgraf, Leon Arellano, and James Purcell via zoom III. Approve Minutes of Previous Meeting(s): Committee decided to postpone the approvals until the next meeting.
IV. Committee Reports ● Architectural: Liz Shaw, Mike Wright, and Alan Wilson ● John Embrey – Solar panels. - John states that he doesn't have the forms back from the solar panels company yet, he said that 43 solar panels will be installed on the backside of his house and garage therefore the panels will not be seen from the street; this would meet the subdivisio n requirements.
● Landscaping/Community Garden: Lillian Wilson, Ron & Linda Jenkins ● Yard of the Month : Ron Jenkins: 1 whittier Community garden: All the lumber has been removed; Matthew Jones offered to level the dirt as much as possible. Should be ready to be mowed soon.
The area where the Lovely’s lived still has many debris that need to be cleaned out. All that area needs to be cleaned, many things still there that are a hazard.
● Newsletter: Liz Shaw ● Social : We may be able to have a social reunion on Sunday, May 2nd from 4 to 6 pm. Leon will have an estimate to bring his taco truck, Tacos El Zorro that day.
The committee w ill check prices for a bouncing house and/or water slide.
● Treasurer’s Report: Rhonda Delany, Rhonda will re port on the next meeting.

New Business: ● Having a walking path would be a good thing to talk about ● Ron suggests that the newsletter should be by electronic means instead of a physical paper, people are more likely to read something via email rather than paper. Association needs to make sure the email addresses are correct for all neighbors. There may be an electronic format already; James will look for it.

Mowing the vacant lots. They are getting more and more away from items like fences and such and just letting the areas over grow.
Still a few large items in the lots that need to be removed. Telephone pole, railroad ties, large post, etc.
Residents cutting trees in the vacant lots. Should NEVER be happening without approval from the board.
I would like to see if we are able to have a tree planting operation. The lots should have many more trees planted. Those areas could be gre at tree coverage areas. 5 gallon trees are not expensive.
Area at the back of the newly vacant lot on Haverford bulkhead has fallen in and should have been cleared when the City / Government was there. It was a part of the property structure r emoval.
People are getting very comfortable with dumping brush, wood and other items in the lots.
Because the mowers are not keeping them looking good it just blends in.
Does the city have plans to work some of the drains that app ear to be collapsed? They just re done the other end of Clearview and there are a total of roughly 14 homes on that street.
Will the City consider shrinking each of the esplanades by 36”? That would allow the trash trucks and the busses to mak e the swings without tearing up the curbs, yards and tires.
