- Sale notification and orientation: Before closing, the seller must notify the board in writing, provide the buyer with a copy of the governing documents, and arrange a meeting between the board and the buyer to welcome them and explain the rules.
- Leasing & rentals: New rentals are prohibited after December 31, 2002. Only owners who were renting at the time of this amendment (January 2000) may continue, but that right ends upon the first of: sale of the unit, owner's death, or a break in rental occupancy of more than 12 consecutive months. The board may allow short-term rentals for hardship (death, illness, transfer).
