Fines range from $50 to $500 per violation, with higher fines for uncurable or health/safety threats (up to $2,000). Repeated violations within 6 months can double fines.
- Right to a hearing: You have 30 days after a notice of violation to request a board hearing. The board must provide an evidence packet 10 days before, and you can postpone if it's late. The board can affirm, modify, or reverse the fine.
