What Saint Andrews Homeowner's governing documents say
Saint Andrews Estates is a townhome community in Blue Mound, TX — homeowners own their lot and townhouse and are members of the Saint Andrews Homeowners Association. These documents are two amendments to the community's original restrictive covenants, adding specific rules about on-street parking and short-term rentals. They do not replace the full set of governing documents, which still contain the main rules for the community.
- Parking & vehicles: Street parking is prohibited except for temporary parking not exceeding three hours. All vehicles must be parked in driveways, inside garages, or in designated cul-de-sac parking areas. The association may impose a special assessment of up to $25 per day per vehicle parked on the street in violation.
- Leasing & rentals: No lot or residence may be leased or subleased for a term of 180 days or less. Short-term rentals (including vacation rentals) are completely banned with no exceptions. Leases longer than 180 days are not restricted by this amendment, but a separate proposal to ban long-term rentals did not pass.
- What this document doesn't cover: These are partial amendments and do not include the community's full rules on architectural standards, pets, noise, assessments, or other typical HOA regulations. The original restrictive covenants and any supplemental restrictions still apply and should be reviewed for complete living requirements.
