About HOAs in Utah
Utah community associations are governed by the Utah Community Association Act (Utah Code §§57-8a-101 et seq.) for HOAs and the Utah Condominium Ownership Act (§§57-8-1 et seq.) for condominiums. State law gives owners detailed rights around access to governing documents, member meetings, board elections, and proxy voting, and HOAs must register with the Utah Department of Commerce. Each Utah association also adopts its own declaration, bylaws, rules, and amendments — HOAproxy collects those documents and makes the full text searchable across Salt Lake City, St. George, Park City, and every other Utah community.
