What Doubletree Canyon's governing documents say
This is a Sixth Amendment to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Doubletree Canyon, a single-family home HOA in Paradise Valley, AZ. It adds two new financial obligations for new homebuyers: a one-time working capital payment and a transfer fee. The amendment does not contain the full set of community rules.
- Working capital payment: Each new owner (buyer) must pay the association a nonrefundable $1,500 working capital fee within 30 days of recording the deed or agreement for sale. Late payment triggers interest, late charges, and an automatic assessment lien on the lot.
- Transfer fee: Each new owner must also pay a transfer fee to the association in an amount set by the board from time to time. If unpaid, the fee becomes an automatic assessment lien on the lot.
- What this document doesn't cover: This partial amendment only adds the working capital and transfer fee requirements. It does not cover the community's other rules (e.g., pets, leasing, parking, architectural review, use restrictions), which are in the original Declaration and other amendments.
