About HOAs in Oklahoma

Oklahoma community associations are governed by the Oklahoma Real Estate Development Act (60 O.S. §§851 et seq.) for HOAs and the Oklahoma Unit Ownership Estate Act (60 O.S. §§501 et seq.) for condominiums. State law gives owners specific rights around access to governing documents, member meetings, board elections, and proxy voting. Each Oklahoma association also adopts its own declaration, bylaws, rules, and amendments — HOAproxy collects those documents and makes the full text searchable across Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Edmond, Norman, and the rest of the state.
