Summer Point Village is a single-family home HOA in McKinney, TX. You own your lot and house; the association maintains common areas and enforces deed restrictions. Membership is automatic for all lot owners, with one vote per lot. These policies detail how assessments are collected, violations are heard, records are accessed, and large contracts are bid.
- Assessments & dues: Regular assessments are billed semi-annually and due on the first of the month. Late fees and interest (at the highest rate allowed by law) may be charged if not paid by the late date. The association can also charge a $30 fee for returned checks.
- Collection & suspension of amenities: If an account is delinquent for at least 30 days, the board may suspend the owner’s (or tenant’s) use of common amenities. Collection steps include notices, title searches, lien filing, and referral to an attorney. A payment plan of 3–18 months is available.

- Bylaws & voting: Ownership of a lot grants one vote. Owners must be in good standing (no violations or delinquencies) to vote. Annual meetings are held within 45 days after the fiscal year ends. A quorum is 10% of members present or by proxy. Directors serve two-year terms.
