The Cliffs of Gleneagles Homeowners Association, Inc. (Plano, TX) is a standard single-family HOA. The Association may suspend common-area use.
- Security measures: Security measures (e.g., fences, gates, cameras, bars) require ACC approval. Fencing must be metal (steel, wrought iron, or aluminum), max 6 feet high, and located on the perimeter of the lot. Prohibited types: chain link, brick, concrete, barbed wire, electrified, vinyl, wood, stone. Fencing cannot enclose sidewalks. Burglar bars and security screens must be black or ACC-approved color.
- Display of religious items: Religious displays require ACC approval unless they are one or more nativity items or seasonal holiday decorations (displayed up to 30 days before and 30 days after the holiday). Displays must comply with the Declaration and cannot be attached to traffic control devices, etc.
- Bid solicitation for service contracts: For contracts over $50,000, the Board must solicit competitive bids. The Board is not required to select the lowest bid. Ongoing service contract bids must be solicited at least 3 months before expiration.
