What Dobbin's Crossing's governing documents say
This is an amendment to Dobbin's Crossing's governing documents (adopted August 2003) in Gilbert, AZ, focused solely on motor vehicle parking and storage rules for owners, lessees, and residents of individual lots. This is a partial document—a single amendment section, not a complete rulebook.
- Garage parking requirement: Motor vehicles must be parked in the garage if there is sufficient space. If not enough garage space, vehicles may be parked in the driveway only if they don't exceed 7 feet in height, don't exceed the driveway length, and are not used for commercial purposes.
- Driveway parking restrictions: Vehicles parked in the driveway cannot display any commercial name, phone number, or message. No vehicle may be stored on the lot except in a garage, and no vehicle may be stored on common areas.
- RV and oversized vehicle parking: Recreational vehicles and motor homes exceeding 7 feet in height or the driveway length may use the driveway only for loading or unloading, for a maximum of 24 consecutive hours or 72 hours in any 7-day period.
- Vehicle storage definition: A vehicle is considered 'stored' if it is covered by a car cover, tarp, or other material. Stored vehicles cannot be kept on the lot except in a garage.
- What this document doesn't cover: This amendment addresses only parking and vehicle rules. It does not cover assessments, architectural review, leasing policies, pets, or other HOA governance—refer to the full governing documents for those topics.
