What Home Town North Richland Hills Residential Association, Inc.'s governing documents say
This is a single amendment to the Declaration for Home Town North Richland Hills, a traditional neighborhood development in Allen, TX, governed by a residential association. It changes only the rules about signs on parcels, so it is not a full rulebook.
- Sign rules: No signs, advertisements, or notices (including 'For Sale', 'For Rent', or garage sale signs) are allowed on any parcel or common area unless the Design Code specifically permits them. Political campaign signs are allowed, but only up to two per parcel, no larger than 14" x 11", and they can only be displayed starting 30 days before an election and must be removed within 5 days after.
- Sign content restrictions: Signs cannot describe, malign, or negatively refer to the condition of the parcel or neighborhood, or the reputation, character, or building practices of any owner, builder, the board, or the founder. They also cannot negatively impact anyone's decision to buy a parcel.
- Enforcement: The founder, association, or their agents have the right to remove any non-compliant sign without liability for trespass or other claims.
- What this document doesn't cover: This is only an amendment to the sign rules. It does not cover other HOA rules like assessments, pets, leasing, architectural review, or maintenance responsibilities. Those would be in the original Declaration and other governing documents.
