- Architectural review (ACC approval): Any additions, improvements, or modifications that require prior approval by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) must be approved before work begins. Failure to obtain approval is a violation.
- Violation notification process: The process begins with an initial/courtesy notice, followed by a formal Notice of Violation if not cured within 30 days. The owner has the right to request a hearing within 30 days of the Notice of Violation.

Unapproved ACC modifications start at $100 (first), $200 (second), $400 (third), $500 (fourth+). Fines may be imposed daily with no aggregate limit.
- Hearing before the board: An owner may request a hearing within 30 days of the Notice of Violation. The board must provide a hearing packet and schedule a hearing within 10 days of the request. The board may suspend sanctions if the violation is cured.
- Corrective action (self-help): If a violation is not remedied within 30 days of the initial notice, the association may hire contractors to correct it and charge the cost to the owner's account. The association is not liable for damage if it acts reasonably.
- Notice delivery methods: Notices may be sent by email (deemed delivered when sent), first-class mail (deemed delivered 3 days after deposit), or certified mail (required for Notice of Violation and corrective action notices). Owners must keep their contact information current.
