Stonecourt is a single-family home HOA in Dallas, TX — this Eighth Amendment changes the leasing rules for the community, tightening who can rent a home and for how long. It amends the original Declaration (from 1981) and applies to all lots in the Caruth Homeplace Addition.
- Leasing & rentals: No lot may be leased except as a 'Permitted Lease' — only to immediate family members (by blood, marriage, or adoption), trusts benefiting them, or entities controlled by them. Subleases are completely prohibited. The HOA can require proof of a valid Permitted Lease.
- Occupancy restrictions: Only one single-family dwelling per lot; no buildings other than the main house, a garage/storage, and possibly quarters for caregivers. House-sitters are allowed only if they are immediate family.
