What Westridge Eagles Nest Owners Association, Inc.'s governing documents say
This is a set of amendments to the bylaws of Westridge Eagles Nest Owners Association, a Texas property owners association within the Westridge master-planned community in McKinney. The amendments change rules about board meetings, director qualifications, and director removal. This is not a full rulebook—it only modifies specific sections of the existing bylaws.
- Board meetings & quorum: The amendments lower the quorum for certain meetings: if a meeting is adjourned due to lack of quorum, a new meeting can be held with owners of at least 5% of the lots (down from 10%).
- Board composition & terms: The board will have five directors serving two-year staggered terms. If enough directors cannot be found, the board can temporarily reduce the number of directors, but subsequent elections will always aim to fill five positions.
- Who can serve on the board: Only members of the association or their spouses can be directors; renters and lessees cannot serve. Directors must not be delinquent on assessments, have uncured violations, or be in litigation against the association.
- Removal of directors: Directors can be removed by other directors for specific reasons: being adverse in litigation, being delinquent on assessments for 90+ days or three times in 12 months, missing three or more board meetings, failing to cure violations, or relocating outside the association without resigning within 15 days.
- What this document doesn't cover: These amendments do not address property maintenance, assessments, pets, leasing, or other typical HOA rules. They only change board governance provisions.
