- Sanitary restrictions: Within 150 feet of a designated deep water well, you cannot build or operate stock pens, feed lots, privies, cesspools, septic tanks, storm sewers, septic tank drain fields, improperly constructed wells, or anything that could create unsanitary conditions. Tile or concrete sanitary sewers are prohibited within 50 feet of the well.
- Farming & livestock: Normal farming and ranching are allowed, but livestock must stay at least 50 feet from the proposed well.
- Existing septic systems: The easement does not obligate the owner to remove an existing septic tank drainfield, but if it is expanded or reconstructed, it must comply with the restrictions.
