What Drexel Highlander's governing documents say
This document is a 2011 amendment to the Bylaws of Drexel Highlander Condominium Association, a condominium community. It only modifies specific rules about board members, officers, managers, and financial handlers; it does not contain the full set of community rules.
- Board & officer qualifications (criminal convictions): No person convicted of a felony or crime involving moral turpitude may serve as a director, officer, or manager, nor may their spouse or close relatives substitute in their place.
- Manager restrictions: The board may not hire as manager any person or entity (including key personnel) convicted of a felony or crime involving moral turpitude, and relatives may not serve as a substitute.
- Fidelity bonds & financial handlers: Anyone handling association funds must be bonded, and no person with a covered criminal conviction may handle funds, nor may their relatives substitute.
- Declarant control period: Until February 20, 2016, the Declarant (original developer) can appoint or remove directors, and those directors may only be removed by the Declarant.
- What this document doesn't cover: This amendment does not set rules for pets, leasing, assessments, parking, age restrictions, or other common community topics. For those, you must refer to the full Declaration and Bylaws.
