What Ranchos De Loma's governing documents say
This document is a 1967 amendment to the original Declaration of Restrictions for Ranchos De Loma Unit One, a residential subdivision in Glendale, AZ. It only changes one rule: previously banned, churches are now allowed on lots, subject to plan approval by specified entities. The amendment binds all lot owners in Unit One (Lots 1-36). This is a partial document — it does not contain the full set of community rules.
- Churches and places of worship: Churches and attendant structures may now be built on any lot in Unit One, despite the original restriction. Prior to construction, plans must be submitted and approved by (a) Southwest Savings and Loan Association and (b) Triple E Development, Inc. Plans must show extent and character of construction, comply with all recorded deed and building restrictions, and be acceptable regarding size, structural quality, design, and style.
- What this document doesn't cover: This amendment addresses only church construction. It does not include any other restrictions from the original Declaration (such as general land use, pet rules, leasing terms, assessments, or architectural review for non-church buildings). Readers must obtain the original Declaration of Restrictions (recorded in Docket 5372, Page 3223) for the full set of community rules.
