About HOAs in Kansas
Kansas community associations are governed by the Kansas Apartment Ownership Act (K.S.A. §§58-3101 et seq.) for older condominiums, the Kansas Uniform Common Interest Owners Bill of Rights Act (K.S.A. §§58-4601 et seq.) for newer associations, and general nonprofit corporation law for HOAs. State law gives owners rights around access to records, board meetings, elections, and proxy voting. Each Kansas association also adopts its own declaration, bylaws, rules, and amendments — HOAproxy aggregates those documents and makes the full text searchable for every Kansas community on the platform.
