What Turnberry's governing documents say
This is an amendment to the Declaration of Covenants for Turnberry Subdivision, a single-family home HOA in Raeford, NC. It updates specific rules about driveways, propane tanks, vehicle parking, fences, satellite dishes, and pools. The original covenants still apply except where changed here.
- Driveways: Driveways may have only a two-car entrance from the street, but a third car curve out is allowed if it doesn't create a third street entrance.
- Propane tanks: Any propane tank installed must not be visible from the street.
- Parking & vehicles: Recreational vehicles, boats, and trailers must be parked on a concrete pad in the rear of the residence, not visible from any street.
- Fences: Fences must be placed at or behind the first back corner of the house, no taller than 6 feet, and cannot be concrete block, chain link, or chicken wire. Perimeter fences must connect; if they can't, they must be at least 36 inches off the property line. All fences need Declarant approval.
- Satellite dishes & antennas: Only satellite dishes up to 24 inches in diameter are allowed, and they must be attached to the rear of the dwelling. No other antennas or towers are permitted.
- Swimming pools: Above-ground pools are not allowed.
- What this document doesn't cover: This is only an amendment, so it doesn't include the full set of HOA rules. The original Declaration of Covenants (recorded in Book 977, Page 547) still applies and should be reviewed for other restrictions.
