This is an amendment to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) for Ravenwood, a single-family home HOA in Wake Forest, NC. It updates two rules: architectural review and home-based businesses. It does not contain the full set of community rules.
- Architectural review: Before erecting or altering any building, fence, mailbox, outside lighting, or other improvement, you must get written approval from an Architectural Committee (up to 5 people) for design, materials, and location. If the committee doesn't respond within 30 days, approval is automatically granted.
- Home-based businesses: No business activity or trade is allowed on any building site unless the Board permits it in its sole discretion. The Board may allow limited home offices if the business doesn't violate the Declaration or Bylaws, create disturbance, or increase traffic or parking congestion.
- What this document doesn't cover: This is only an amendment to two paragraphs of the original Declaration. It does not include the full set of HOA rules, such as assessments, maintenance responsibilities, pet restrictions, or other covenants.
