What Rolling Meadows Collin County's governing documents say
This is an amendment to the bylaws of the Rolling Meadows of Collin County Homeowners Association, a single-family HOA in Celina, TX. It modifies meeting notice rules, officer terms, and adds restrictions on a private road. It does not contain the full set of HOA rules—only select amendments.
- Officer terms & elections: Officers are elected by the board and serve 3-year terms (unless resigned/removed). Board membership requires zero delinquencies to be eligible for election. If no new nominations, existing officers are renewed for another 3-year term.
- Meeting notices: Members may notify the secretary of their preference to receive meeting notices by text message instead of postal mail.
- Private road & vehicle restrictions: Vehicular traffic on Private Road 5393 is limited to a gross weight of 35,000 lbs (excluding emergency vehicles). Overweight loads require written board approval at least 10 days in advance; board responds within 5 days. Unauthorized overweight loads result in damage assessments that must be paid within 30 days or risk foreclosure.
- Amendment process: The covenants run with the land perpetually and can only be removed by amendment approved by 75% of the association and recorded in Collin County.
- What this document doesn't cover: This amendment does not cover typical HOA topics such as property maintenance, landscaping, architectural review, pet restrictions, leasing rules, parking (other than weight), or dues amounts.
