What Carruth Est Homeowners A's governing documents say
This is a pair of amendments to the governing documents for Carruth Estates, a single-family home HOA in Double Oak, TX. They modify only the rules about playground equipment and basketball goals. They do not contain the full set of HOA rules.
- Playground and recreational equipment: Playground equipment (swing sets, play houses, etc.) must be installed behind the home and within the side building lines.
- Basketball goals (in-ground): In-ground basketball goals may be installed along a driveway outside the side building lines and behind the front building line, but require pre-approval from the Board. They must be maintained in good condition: net not torn, backboard not broken, and paintable surfaces rust-free.
- Basketball goals (temporary/movable): Temporary (movable) basketball goals are allowed under the same condition standards but do not require Board pre-approval.
- Sports courts: Sports courts and their equipment installation require Board approval before construction.
- Amendment approval: These amendments were approved by more than 90% of homeowners as of December 15, 2012.
- What this document doesn't cover: This document is a partial amendment and does not cover other HOA rules such as assessments, leasing, parking, fencing, architectural standards, or pet restrictions. For those, refer to the full Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions.
