What Alta Mesa's governing documents say
This is a revision to the bylaws of Alta Mesa Unit 11 Homeowners Association (also known as Town Square HOA) in Mesa, AZ. It governs the internal operation of the association for the benefit of homeowners in the community.
- Board structure & elections: The board has 3 to 5 members. Elections are by secret ballot; each Class A member (one per household) gets one vote per vacancy, with no cumulative voting. Nominations come from a committee or from the floor.
- Annual meeting: Annual meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the third Thursday of February each year.
- Committees: The association must have an Architectural Control Committee and a Nominating Committee. The board may also appoint an Auditing Committee consisting of one board member and two at-large members (the treasurer may support but not chair).
- What this document doesn't cover: This document is a partial amendment to the bylaws and does not contain specific rules about pets, leasing, age restrictions, parking, or other day-to-day living requirements. Those would be in the full Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) or other governing documents.
