About HOAs in Arizona
Arizona homeowners associations are governed by the Arizona Planned Community Act (A.R.S. Title 33, Chapter 16) and, for condominiums, the Condominium Act (Title 33, Chapter 9). Arizona statutes give homeowners specific rights around access to governing documents, member meetings, open records, and the procedures associations must follow when changing rules or assessing fines.
